Date Published: July 6, 2018

Brown’s Town Community College has always recognized that a highly qualified cadre of lecturers, dedicated to serving the changing needs of students as they pursue their educational and career goals is fundamental to accomplishing its vision of becoming a world class institution. The College has therefore sought to select and retain competent faculty members.

The College also caters to the holistic needs of students and, thus, opportunities are provided outside the classroom that stimulate social and cultural awareness, physical well being, and intellectual, spiritual and moral growth. A number of religious groups including University and Colleges Christian Fellowship (UCCF) and The University and Colleges Apostolic Ministry (UCAM) cater to the spiritual development of the students.

The Student Executive Body along with groups such as the Circle K, Health and Tourism Action Clubs also help with the development of leadership skills, discipline and loyalty. Tutorials are held on a regular basis and are informal meetings which allow for closer relationships to be developed between faculty and students. Students are also encouraged to be a part of the Social Outreach Programme, which involves participating in forty (40) hours of approved voluntary community service operated under specific guidelines.

Fees for programmes offered at Brown’s Town Community College are considered quite competitive and students are provided with flexible payment plans.
