Welcome to Brown’s Town Community College, a pioneering institution established in 1975 under the Ministry of Education. From its humble beginnings, this noble College has grown to become a beacon of excellence, thanks to the vision and foresight of outstanding individuals.

Nestled in the beautiful Dry Harbour Mountains of St. Ann, our College offers a vibrant and diverse community of students primarily from St. Mary, St. Ann, Trelawny, and Clarendon. Our commitment to academic, moral, spiritual, and physical development sets us apart, making Brown’s Town Community College a place where students thrive and succeed.

Over the years, we have expanded our programme offerings to meet the needs of our students. From the introduction of technical and vocational programmes to preparing students for CSEC and G.C.E. O’Level examinations, we continually evolve to stay at the forefront of education.

With a dedicated staff of 126 members, including experienced faculty and administrators, we foster a nurturing environment that empowers our students to achieve greatness. Our dynamic clubs and societies provide exciting avenues for personal growth and development, encouraging students to explore their passions and interests. As a testament to our commitment to academic excellence and our membership in the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica, we’ve forged partnerships with prestigious institutions like the University of Technology (UTech), Jamaica and The University of the West Indies. These collaborations have led us to offer exciting programmes, including Bachelor Degrees in Business Administration, Social Work, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Computing and Nursing.

In our pursuit of progress, we established additional campuses in St. Ann’s Bay and Discovery Bay, catering to students from various regions and expanding our technical training programmes. The transformation of the Wesley Campus into the first nursing school in the Northern region stands as a proud milestone in our journey.
