45-Hour Short Course
Blueprint Reading Course
This 45-hour Blueprint Reading Course is designed to provide learners with foundational knowledge and practical skills to accurately read and interpret technical drawings used in construction, manufacturing, and engineering.
The course covers key concepts such as isometric and perspective sketches, bearings, drawing techniques and floor plans commonly found in architectural blueprints.

Total Duration: 45 hours
Class Schedule
- Option 1: Two evenings per week, 3 hrs. each, for 8 weeks
- Option 2: Saturday, 6 hrs. per day, for 7.5 weeks
- Option 3: Sunday, 6 hours per day, for 7.5 weeks
Mode of Delivery
Blended Format: Live online lectures with in-person practical session

Entry Requirements
Minimum of one (1) CSEC/GCE subject, or entrance test, or relevant work experience.

Participants will receive a Brown’s Town Community College Certificate upon successfully completing the course and assessments.
