The Associate of Science in Engineering is a two-year full-time programme offered at Brown’s Town Community College (BTCC) through partnership with the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica (CCCJ). The programme provides foundational knowledge in engineering principles and prepares students for entry-level roles in engineering or for continued studies at the bachelor’s level.

Delivery Mode: Full-time
Applied foundation across engineering drawing, CAD, construction/site practice, maintenance, and QA/QC. Labs and projects build problem-solving, safety, and teamwork for Jamaica’s utilities and manufacturing sectors.

Applicants without Mathematics must complete Foundation Concepts in Mathematics I, II, and III in Year 1.
Applicants with prior technical training or relevant work experience may be considered under CCCJ’s mature entry policy.

Upon successful completion, graduates are awarded the Associate of Science in Engineering conferred by the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica (CCCJ).
