Welcome to a New Journey: Orientation 2024 Recap
The 2024-2025 academic year has officially begun, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our new students into the Brown’s Town Community College family. Orientation 2024, held under the inspiring theme “Let Your Passion Drive Your Journey,” saw 306 new students embarking on this exciting phase of their academic careers.
The day was filled with energy and anticipation as students were introduced to the various programmes, resources, and opportunities available at the College. The orientation served not only as an introduction to campus life but also as a celebration of the fresh potential and new experiences awaiting them.
One of the highlights of the event was an empowering address by the College Principal, who emphasized the importance of transitioning from high school to college with a sense of responsibility and accountability. The Principal encouraged students to recognize that their success is ultimately in their hands, and that college life offers the freedom to pursue their passions while also demanding a higher level of commitment. It’s a time for growth, both academically and personally, and the Principal reminded everyone that the journey requires discipline and determination to unlock their full potential.
