Bachelor of Science in Food Service Management

The Bachelor of Science in Food Service Management is a four-year degree programme offered through collaboration between Brown’s Town Community College (BTCC) and the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech, Jamaica). It is designed to equip students with the managerial, technical, and entrepreneurial skills needed to lead and innovate in the food service and hospitality industries.

  • Years 3 & 4: Completed at UTech, Jamaica
  • Delivery Format: Face-to-face

Programme Structure

Industry-aligned curriculum combining culinary operations, hospitality management, food safety, marketing, and entrepreneurship—progressing from operational skills to strategic leadership by Years 3–4.

Entry Requirements

  • Five (5) CSEC/GCE subjects, including:
  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • One science subject
