The Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts is a two-year full-time programme offered at Brown’s Town Community College (BTCC). This programme is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in food preparation, kitchen management, and culinary innovation, preparing them for careers in the hospitality and food service industries.

Delivery Mode: Full-time only
Hands-on culinary training blended with food safety, menu planning, and kitchen operations. Emphasis on Caribbean cuisine, modern techniques, and service excellence through labs and real-world projects.
Applicants without Mathematics must complete Foundation Concepts in Mathematics I, II, and III in Year 1.
Mature applicants with relevant experience may apply under CCCJ’s mature entry policy.

Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts conferred by the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica (CCCJ).
Graduates may also progress to bachelor’s programmes in Culinary Management, Hospitality & Tourism, or Food Service Management.
